Loving the Lathe

Haha! Yep, the lathe and I are bff's (if you know what I'm sayin';). Haha!

Yes, I'm still working on my chess pieces (yeah, the ones for my Carpentry Final LAST semester). However, I'm so close to being completely done with the latheing portion of the project, but my weekend is going to consist of painting and decorating them (my deadline is Tuesday). Have no fear! I'm so proud of myself! I managed to spit out 10 pawns within the past two days, so now I don't need anymore pawns! Thankgoodness! This means that I only have 8 pieces left to lathe! 8! I'll be heading to the Playhouse around 2-3 to lathe some more, and hopefully spit out another four pieces. Then, if I can make another four tomorrow I'll be all finished latheing! Yay!

The pieces that I do have finished, I have them set up all nice on my desk, and they make me sooooo happy! I think they look so neat! I'm going to be all giggly when they're finished!

HAHAHA! My Aunt just called me. My Aunt and my cousin are currently across the river doing an activity for homeschool on the Party Liner (I forget aready what she said it was, me bad). It's so awesome that my family is just across the river, but it makes me sad since I can't see them. Oh well. Hahaha! However, I DID get a really, really, really small glimpse of my Aunt, because I can see the Gateway Clipper from the dorm room. Hahaha! That was cool.

Well, my Directing Project went a lot better than I thought it would. My roomate became my actress, and she did me proud! We rehearsed our skit for a good three hours in the Dance Sudio (which is where my class is). I think my class genuinely liked it, and thought that it was cute. I know it made me happy to hear some chuckles come out of my classmates. However, I have no idea grading wise how I did, so hopefully I will find that out next class.

Well, I had Make-Up class yesterday, and... I CAN MAKE PEOPLE OLD NOW! Hehehehehe... Yes, I can officially make you old if you would like me to. I still need a lot of practice (especially on doing it fast), but I can do it. We have to have a model next week, and my roomate has come to my rescue once again! Hahaha.

I also got the opportunity to go through the stage entrance doors to the Benedum yesterday! My Adv. Stage Management class was meeting someone to talk to us about IATSE (I'm still confused about a lot of it, so don't ask me to explain it). However, it was interesting, and I got to see a different part of the Benedum! Yay! That ESPECIALLY made me excited. Hehehe!

Ummm... I don't think I have much else to say.

Oh! My mommy's b-day is tomorrow! !!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!!

Mom said that she was going to try to get Wicked tickets for her b-day (but last time Wicked was here it sold out), but we will see what happens. :)

Ummm... yeah, I don't think there is much else.

I'm sorry that there is such an extreme lack of new art work. College is crazy, and I have no scanner, so what am I to do?

Well, I better get going. Lathe here I come!

Cheers!
